Teaching-assistant Fellowship in NYC

Blue Engine, an education nonprofit that recruits, trains and supports a professional corps of Blue Engine Teaching Assistants (BETAs), is currently recruiting seniors and recent college graduates of all academic backgrounds for a year-long fellowship in New York City. During one year terms of service, BETAs lead small group instruction (4-5 students per period) alongside experienced classroom teachers, working in teams from 7:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. to help entire grade levels make dramatic, measurable gains in Math and English / Language Arts.
