PUBLIC AFFAIRS/COMMUNICATIONS INTERNSHIP FOR SPRING 2014 SEMESTER U.S. LABOR DEPARTMENT - PHILADELPHIA Looking for a great opportunity to gain real-world experience working in a fast-paced, federal government communications office? THIS IS THE INTERNSHIP FOR YOU!!  The U.S. Department of Labor’s Public Affairs Internship is open to Junior, Senior and Graduate Student Communication, Public Relations, Advertising, English, and Journalism majors. To participate, students must be currently enrolled in school and located in the greater Philadelphia area. This internship is for academic credit only. However, a transit subsidy is provided for interns who commute on SEPTA and PATCO only. The U.S. Labor Department's Regional Office of Public Affairs in Center City, Philadelphia, is actively recruiting for their 2013 Public Relations summer and fall internships! We are looking for undergraduate and graduate Journalism, Communication, Public Relations and/or English majors. NOTE: This is a for credit only internship. Students typically receive up to three (3) credit hours for successful completion of the internship. FYI - we provide a transit subsidy for our interns to assist with costs incurred commuting via public transportation using SEPTA or PATCO only. Women's Way of Philadelphia is advertising for a paid intern position for a graduate student this summer.
